A massive increase in online shopping and residential deliveries has created record-breaking shipment volumes for UPS, FedEx and USPS. They can't keep up with demand. This can add days to production and delivery times in some instances. As your partner, we are committed to providing you with the best possible experience and service. Planning ahead allows Staples Promotional Products to help you meet your desired timelines. If you have large orders and tight deadlines, please call Customer Service for extra planning and attention.

On-time delivery could require longer shipping lead times, so order early!

  • Delivery of in-stock orders may be delayed due to longer shipment transit times
  • Custom orders may be subject to double delays. Inventories may take longer to reach decorators. Shipment of decorated orders to the customer may also take longer
  • Paying for expedited services no longer guarantees on-time delivery. Shippers have discontinued their “money-back” delivery time guarantees for the foreseeable future

Plan & order early!

While Staples is working with suppliers and freight carriers to secure priority processing, delays cannot be mitigated in all cases. Shipping carriers do not know when shipping volumes and capacities will normalize. We will keep you informed as volumes and shipping times improve.

The Beer Store Customer Care FAQ’s

To shop the The Beer Store Gear, you can check out as a “Guest” or “Create an Account” +

As a first–time shoppers will have the option to check out as a “Guest” or to “Create an Account”. Will be prompted to enter information in both cases, such as name, address, e-mail address and phone number. If you are creating an account, you will also need to enter a username and password to log in. This information will default to your billing and shipping information. If your billing and shipping information are not the same, you have the option to edit when you are ready to complete your order. You can also change your shipping and billing information by clicking on the “My Account” button if you have signed up for an account to get quick checkout. Once you have registered, the catalogue will remember you each time you visit.

How do I know if my order has been received? +

When we receive your order, an Order Confirmation screen will be generated, issuing an order number. Please print out this page for future reference.

How and when is the stock delivered? +

We aim for your delivery to be with you in 3-4 days from receipt of authorization notification.

Please Note: Next day delivery is not always possible, but our Customer Care Team will do their best to meet your requirement.

Change or cancel an order? +

If you wish to change or cancel an order that has not yet been dispatched, contact our Customer Care Team at 1-800-450-6462 any time between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday to Friday EST, excluding public holidays.

Please have the order confirmation number and date the order was placed on hand. They will be happy to cancel the existing order. If the order has already been dispatched, we will investigate each inquiry separately and advise of a suitable resolution.

What should I do if an item is received damaged or broken in transit? +

Please report any delivery, quantity, or quality discrepancies to TheBeerStore.ca@staples.com within 5 working days of the delivery receipt. Otherwise, the delivery will be deemed to be without discrepancies and invoiced accordingly.

Why isn’t my payment going through? +

Your payment may not go through because of filters your bank may have applied to certain transactions made online, or amount limitations applied to your card. If your payment is being rejected, please reach out to your bank to get additional information.

How do I track my order? +

Once your order has been shipped from our warehouse, you will receive a shipping notification, outlining the contents of your order, the method of shipping and the tracking information.

Do you ship internationally? +

Shipments are within Canada but if you do want to ship your order internationally, please contact our Customer Care Center, please dial 1-800-450-6452 or email us at: TheBeerStore.ca@staples.com for a quote. Our normal business hours are 8.00 am – 6.00 pm Monday to Friday EST. If I order product that are in stock and on backorder, when will my order ship? +

If you add product that is in stock and on backorder, your order will be shipped when all the products on your order are in stock. Each product will show the estimated time of inventory to be in stock.
